Frequently Asked Questions

General

What is your turn-around time?

Our current turn-around time is approximately 7 working days. You will receive an email when your order is shipped.

Why isn’t my firearm on your list?

We use non-firing positive molds. These molds are not available for all firearms. We will add new firearms to the list as they become available.

Can I send my firearm to you?

No. We do not have an FFL license. It is illegal to have firearms shipped to us, but if you are local, you can bring the firearm to us, and we will build a holster for you.

What is your return policy?

We have a 30-day, no questions asked return policy. Contact us via email about your return, and we will send instructions.  You will receive 100% refund minus shipping.  We will not cover return postage unless it is an error on our part.

What is your warranty?

We have a life-time warranty on all our products. This is my life time, not yours. I am 66 years old. Your guess is as good as mine.

Do you offer LEO and active military discounts?

We offer a 10% discount to all active law enforcement and military personnel. You must email us with this request.

What are the shipping rates?

We ship via USPS. All orders ship flat rate which is $6.95, whether you order 1 item or 10 items. All belt attachments ship free (when ordered separately).

KYDEX HOLSTERS

Can I use a light-bearing holster without the light?

No. The light is used for retention. Without it, the weapon would be loose in the holster and unsafe to carry.

Why do you use 0.060 Kydex versus 0.080 Kydex?

We like 0.060 Kydex because of the better definition than 0.080. We feel 0.060 has more flexibility for better retention, and you will get a positive Kydex click when reholstering. It is also lighter in weight, and we have not had any durability issues.

Are your holsters handmade?

Yes. We make each holster to order. We do not keep any in stock.

Can I adjust the retention on the holster?

Yes. Instructions are sent with each holster for adjusting the retention. If you have any problems, you can call us, and we will talk you through the adjustment process, or you can return it, and we will adjust it for you at no charge.

Can I order by phone?

No. We do not process credit cards over the phone. We never see any credit card information.

Do you ship internationally?

No. We ship to the United States and its territories only.

What is the difference between short, medium and tall/full sweat guards/shields?

Tall/full SG completely covers the firearm next to your body, protects the controls, keeps moisture away from the firearm, prevents loose clothing from interfering and acts as a funnel for reholstering.

Medium SG does not cover controls, but keeps clothing from interfering and acts as a funnel for reholstering.

Short SG allows a proper firing grip without any thumb interference.

What is the difference in the degrees of cant?
  • Zero-degree cant is usually ordered by right-handed shooters if they are carrying from the 2 to 3 o’clock position.
  • 10-degree cant is usually ordered by right-handed shooters if they are carrying from the 3 to 4 o’clock position.
  • 15-degree cant is usually ordered by right-handed shooters if they are carrying from the 4 to 5 o’clock position.
  • With 10 or 15 degrees of cant, some shooters find it is easier to conceal the grip of the firearm, and they also find it is more comfortable and easier to draw when seated.
  • By reconfiguring belt loop placement, you can increase or decrease the amount of cant by 5 degrees
Will Kydex holsters wear the finish off of my firearm?

Yes. All holsters over time will wear the finish off of your firearm. Whether you are a competitive shooter or carrying for protection, your firearm is a tool, and you can expect to see holster wear.

I have after-market sights. Will they fit?

Yes. We mold in a tall sight channel, providing room for after-market night or fiber optic sights.

I have suppressor sights. Will they fit?

No. Contact us, and we will make a sight channel to fit.

Which belt loops will be shipped with my OWB holster/mag carrier?

We use 3 styles of belt loops on our OWB products. The belt loops on full size holsters (4.25″ barrel or longer) use injection-molded polymer standard-style belt loops, All compact and subcompact holsters (4″ barrel or shorter) and mag carriers use injection-molded P-style belt loops. All light-bearing holsters use injection-molded polymer Z-style belt loops.

Why do you use 3 different styles of belt loops for your OWB holsters?

P-style belt loops are used on compact and subcompact guns to lower the ride height which changes the center of gravity to keep the top of the gun tight to the body. Standard belt loops allow larger firearms to ride higher on the belt for better concealment and still keeps the top of the gun tight to the body. Z-style  belt loops are the same as our standard, except their design is angled to allow easier threading of the belt around the wider light-bearing holster.
